Pitron Tech Solutions is hiring a Business Development Representative, FinTech in Adiss Ababa, Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or technology and 3 to 5 years of experience. Applications close on 1 December 2026.
Requirements
- Familiarity with National Bank of Ethiopia directives for payment instrument issuers and payment system operators
- Understanding of how payment businesses earn: merchant discount rates, transaction fees, revenue sharing, settlement and reconciliation
- A record of deals or merchant targets you can state in figures
Main responsibilities
- Sell the payment gateway, digital wallet and mobile banking to banks, microfinance institutions, SACCOs, payment companies, merchants and aggregators
- Build and manage your own pipeline, from first meeting through demonstration, proposal, negotiation and signed contract
- Track live volume and collection on every account you sign, and grow it through new use cases
