Requirements
- Valid license and registration with the Ethiopian Ministry of health/Medical Council
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-specialization experience in hospital practice
Main responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide critical care and stabilization for life-threatening conditions
- Mentor general practitioners, residents, and nurses in internal medicine practice
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, patient safety, and ethical standards
- Provide bedside teaching and lectures to medical staff and students
- Participate in operational research and contribute to evidence-based practice
