ABIG is hiring two accountants in Addis Ababa. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance and at least three years of experience. Applications close on 11 November 2026.

Requirements

Good knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, accounting standards, and internal control procedures
Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel

Main responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journals, and supporting documents
Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and other financial accounts regularly
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and follow up on outstanding balances
Identify and report accounting discrepancies and support the preparation of necessary adjusting entries
Provide necessary financial documents and information during internal and external audits
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit purposes
