Hope Enterprise’s University College is hiring an Accountant in Addis Ababa. The role asks for a bachelor's degree in accounting, accounting and finance, or banking and finance, along with two to four years of experience. Applications close on 1 November 2026.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of solid accounting experience
- Handling tax filings (VAT, Withholding, Employment Income Tax) under the Ethiopian ERCA regulations
- IFRS training certificates
Main responsibilities
- Prepares all payment vouchers in accordance with the financial rules, regulations and appropriate authorization of the college.
- Prepares journal vouchers, posts and balances accounting entries and prepares quarterly trial balance.
- Prepares payroll at the end of every month.
- Prepares and reviews budget, revenue expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
