Cobuilt Solutions is hiring an Import Operation and Liaison Officer in Addis Ababa. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or Logistics and between three and five years of experience. Applications close on 28 October 2026.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in import operations and sourcing.
- Proven experience in LC processing, Ethiopian banking procedures, and customs documentation.
- Strong market research, supplier negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian import regulations.
Main responsibilities
- Research the Ethiopian market to identify high-demand, fast-moving, and profitable products.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms, and shipping arrangements.
- Prepare and process Letter of Credit (LC) applications and amendments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs clearing agents.
- Process business licenses, renewals, import permits, and regulatory approvals.
