johnny General Auto PLC is hiring two senior accountants in Addis Ababa. The position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and between five and ten years of experience. Applications close on 5 November 2026.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of relevant professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Ethiopian tax requirements
Main responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions
- Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash-flow reports, and financial forecasts
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax and other statutory reports
