Go Super App (Bridge Communication PlC) is hiring a Senior Accountant in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and three to five years of experience. Applications close on 4 November 2026.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Experience in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform complex reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Skills
- Microsoft Office Pack: Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Powerpoint
- Proven experience using accounting software such as Peachtree, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems
- Chartered Accountant/CIA; risk management certifications
