Requirements
- Knowledge of applicable Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
Nice to have
- Professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage
- Experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting is highly desirable
Main responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting transactions and ensure proper recording of financial activities
- Review journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and supporting documents
- Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Reconcile general ledger accounts with subsidiary records
