An agreement has been signed between the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authorities (EWCA) as implementing authority and FZS as the implementing partner in the Bale Mountain National Park (BMNP) for the implementation of the Programme “Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity” (BMZ ID 2014 67 133) co-financed by KFW Development Bank (KFW) and the Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS).
FZS is looking for: Administration and finance officer
Number of position: 1
General Description of the Job: The job holder will be based at Bale Zone Dinsho town field office. She/he process expenditure entry and documentation. In addition, the job holder will oversee procurement processes at field level In adherence with donor, government and FZS guidelines, take a lead role on advance management and timely settlement of advance, support to general management of the project, prepare and send timely financial report to the head office in Addis, prepare contracts at project level and administration of staffs under his/her supervision, and other duties assigned.
Key Job Requirement: BA degree in Accounting with a minimum five years work experience in finance and administration preferably in NGOs. Good English language skills (both written and oral), excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, and skills on financial accounting packages is desirable. Knowledge of local language is a plus.
Remunerations: As per FZS Ethiopia scale
