Job Description:

Warehouse manager

SUPPLY CHAIN & WAREHOUSING

Goal : Plan, carry-out and pilot logistic services in the warehouse(s) under responsibilty

Activities

A. Manage the warehouse personnel in order to ensure the best productivity, best quality of work and security of the personnel

B. Budget management

C. Oversee suppliers relationship

D. Report to hierarchy

E. Organize the work in the warehouse

A1. Lead and motivate the different teams under responsibility.
A2. Oversee the work of the teams concerning loading / unloading,
preparation of orders, storage and shipping making available human and material resources, in harmony with the workload and contractual requirements

A3. Optimize the organisation of the teams work and ensure their motivation
A4. Ensure security of the personnel and goods associated under responsibility

A5. Enforce and respect company rules of procedure, the protocol and particularly the rules related to hygiene and security (HSE group policy)

B1. Check exhaustive and one-time invoicing of his activity
B2. Check profitability of his activity

C1. Host suppliers, clients and outside entreprises
C2. Oversee the good execution of the contracts related to equipement supply and participate to negotiation of some purchases (de fourniture de matériels et participer à la négociation de certains achats (supplies, packings, warehouse supplies)

D1. Ensure the interface between the personnel overseed and his hierarchy and report this last about major anomalies encountered.
D2. Communicate with hierarchy about the indicators of activity and service quality operated via regular reports

E1.Delimitate the working zones reserved to the different activities according to flows and types of products
D2. Participate to the definition of the needs in term of human and material resources

D3. Check the good execution of the maintenances preventive and/or curative of the operations (especially relative to forklifts, rolling materials, IT equipment…)
D4.Keep watch over cleanliness of the store

D5. Oversee the security and goods preservation
D6.Organize and oversee the inventories defined in contractual terms and conditions
D7. Participate in continuous improvement of the procedures

Specific activities

With clients : Commercial support + Client visit
Perfomance review meeting with clients

Working relationships
Company internal relationships	Supply chain manager, Supply Chain Operation manager, Supply chain solution manager Service supports : Invoicing, HR, QHSE, general services, IT, Security
Company external relationships	Subcontractors and suppliers: supplies, contracts, material Transport companies : reception and shipping of goods Clients : Commercial support

Job Requirements:

To be very comfortable with computer (emails, Excels and Software’s like WMS)
To be good in calculation
Outstanding organizational skills
Experience budgeting and forecasting
Familiarity with business and financial principles
Leadership ability
Excellent communication skills
To have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Logistics.
