We’re Hiring: Sales Officer – Fertilizer
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to lead the sales and distribution of our fertilizer product across Ethiopia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and develop new customers, agro-dealers, distributors, cooperatives, and other market opportunities.
- Independently generate leads, secure orders, and close sales.
- Build and manage a strong distribution network across assigned regions.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and distribution partners.
- Conduct regular market visits and provide feedback on market trends and competitor activities.
- Promote the product and support market development activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requirements:
- Educational background in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in agricultural sales, preferably in fertilizer or agricultural inputs.
- Proven ability to develop sales opportunities, secure orders, and achieve targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Ethiopia.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of (Chinese is an asset)
- Compensation: Salary + Commission
