Vacancy Announcement Position: Senior Business Development Expert Key Roles & Responsibilities: • Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and working closely with the implementing partners technical team at field and head offices, the expert will be responsible to perform the following key duties: • Ensure the creation of commercial partnerships between NTFP producers and relevant value chain market actors, • Building staff, community, government and other stakeholders capacity in development and management of green business including financial management, • Ensure unemployed youth and women could participate in profitable green rural businesses, • Leads and facilitates mentoring of business development and management by Participatory Forest Management (PFM) Cooperatives and individual forest users, • Ensures proper utilization of forest benefits including carbon by PFM Cooperatives. • Duty Station: Addis Ababa (Head Office) with frequent travel to project implementation areas • Salary & Benefit: As per the SOS Sahel Ethiopia salary scale & benefit packages • Closing Date: July 1, 2022 How to Apply: • Interested applicants are invited to send their CV and other Credentials with cover letter in English, specifying position they applied for to one of the following address: SOS Sahel Ethiopia - P.O. • MA/BA Degree in Business Development or Agricultural Economics or Business Management with at least 5 years of related work experience • Skill of Value chain assessment, business plan development and management, strong command of English language • Knowledge of Afaan Oromo is mandatory |
