Shining Stone International Business PLC is hiring a project Office Engineer in Addis Ababa. The mid‑level position requires a bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering and construction technology & management and at least four years of experience and is onsite. Applications close on 23 October 2026.
Requirements
- BSc Degree in civil Engineering and construction Technology & management and Other Related Field of study.
- At least 2 year in Similar positions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, scheduling software and document control systems
- Knowledgeable of construction materials, methods and procedures
- Experience working with contract documents and construction plans and specifications
Main responsibilities
- Maintain project drawings, specifications, shop drawings, working drawings, and submittals.
- Track and process Requests for Information (RFIs), field memos, and official correspondence.
- Assist in creating and updating project master schedules, tracking day-to-day progress, and generating status reports.
- Perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, track budget expenditures, and assist with change orders.
- Process contract payments, interim valuations, contractor/subcontractor invoices, and fuel/material adjustments.
- Act as a liaison between site engineers, project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients
