Internal Auditor

Ries Engineering S.C would like to invite qualified candidates to apply for the  Internal Auditor  position.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the group Internal Auditor, the Internal Auditor will perform the full audit cycle including operational, compliance and investigation audit.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities 

• Evaluating risk exposure relating to achievement of the organization strategic objectives;
• Evaluating the systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations which could have a significant impact on the organization;
• Evaluating the means of safeguarding assets and, as appropriate, verifying the existence of such assets;
• Performing consulting and advisory roles related to policies, corporate governance, risk management and controls as appropriate to the Board and the organization;
• Submit to the Board Annual InternalAudit Plan for review andapproval;
• Reporting on regular basis on the performance relative to the annual Audit plan as per Board request
• Reporting significant risk exposures and internal control issues, including but not limited to fraud, corporate governance and other matters needed or requested by the Board;
• Evaluating regular and/or specific operations at the request of the Board or management, as appropriate;
• Carrying out suspected fraud investigation within the organization and notify the Board and management about the results;
• Visit branch offices which are located outside Addis Ababa as per the annual audit plan;
• Cooperates with the external auditors during their audit work;
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the Board and the group Internal Auditor.

Minimum Qualifications

• The applicants should have a minimum of BA degree in Accounting and related business fields. ACCA/CPA is mandatory.
• The applicants should have a minimum of 12 year’s experience in Auditing (Internal and/ or external Audit) out of which 5 years in a managerial position. Applicants with past automotive industry experience are preferable.
