Job Description

Our company New Flower General Trading Plc engaged in Manufacturing, Import and Export business is seeking an organized, efficient, and communicative liaison officer to coordinate between our organization and another entity. In this role, you will act as the middle person between our business and the other entity to streamline operations, resolve issues, improve communications, and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible.

Liaison Officer should equipped with following Experiences

  • Full Import and export procedures with commercial banks
  • Full Customs procedures in relation with Import and  Export
  • Applicable laws of Federal and regional Investment commissions
  • Land  related laws of A.A ,Dire-dawa and Regional Administrations
  • Multimodal and other shipping modality of Import and export shipments
  • Annual Renewal of different business licenses, lease agreements, and Vehicles renewals…of the company
  • National Bank law in relation with Import and Export.
  • Practical touch with parties involve in coffee export process like ECX, coffee and Tea authority , Food and Medicine control authority and others
  •  Handing visa process in different embassies and flight ticket issues
  • Practical Experience with Transistors and forwarding companies
  • Renewal of Insurance policies and Claim handling with insurance companies
  • Aware about the duty free privileges with different investment packages
  • Handing issues with federal and regional revenue offices
  • Handing issues with federal and regional Transport  offices
  • Handing issues with federal and regional Trade and industry offices
  •  knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact
  • Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the business
  • Develop and foster relationships with the community, stakeholders, and other entities
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and the other entity
  • Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about an important issue for the business
  • Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and the other entity
  • Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
  • Act as a positive representation of the business to the community

Job Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BSc degree in Social Field is required
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems
  • Capability to negotiate with and influence others
  • Analytically and mathematically minded to analyze data and create necessary reports
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
  • Language Proficiency: Speak ,read and write Amharic ,Oromifa and English.
