Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or with related field of study

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Preschool Director

• Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the daily operations of the preschool.

• Supervise teachers and support staff.

• Develop and monitor educational programs.

• Ensure a safe, supportive, and child-friendly learning environment.

• Communicate with parents and address children’s needs.

• Manage schedules, resources, and school activities.

• Ensure compliance with education and childcare standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational planning and implementation skills

• Knowledge of teacher evaluation and observation methods

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

• Capable of creating and working with a team  

• Maintains a generally positive attitude

• Love for children and passion for teaching.

• No criminal record or child-related offences.

• Good command of English and Amharic languages
