Job Description
This SOW is for the Ethiopia Statutory Audit for the year 2022. Food Enterprise Solutions is implementing the USAID funded BD4FS program in Ethiopia. FES is registered in Ethiopia and is operating in Ethiopia. The selected Audit firm will work closely with FES Ethiopia team and FES head office to conduct an audit of FES/BD4FS which complies with and responds to all the statutory requirements of the Government of Ethiopia.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Statutory Audit for the period of year 2022
- Tax Auditing and filing for tax related documents of FES with the Government of Ethiopia
- Submission of required documents under Ethiopian company laws
- Assistance in obtaining TAX Clearance.
- Assistance in annual company update.
- Assistance in labor audit as per Labor Act of Ethiopia.
DELIVERABLES
- A draft audit report and management letter to review by HQ before finalization and submission
- Tax Audit and filing for tax compliance
- Obtaining Tax Clearance Certificate
- Annual Company update of FES Ethiopia
- Labor Audit Report
REPORTING AND SUPERVISION
As an audit firm, you will be directly reporting to Ethiopia BD4FS Program Director and is supervised by both the Ethiopia BD4FS Program Director and the FES HQ Senior Finance Office
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE AND LEVEL OF EFFORT (LOE)
A maximum of 20 working days throughout the period from 1 March 2023 through 31 March 2023 shall be committed for the activity.
Job Requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as an Audit Firm, including auditing experience of USAID funded projects in Ethiopia.
- Demonstrated ability and experience facilitating reporting related requirements and tax issues with the Government of Ethiopia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
