People In Need – PIN is hiring an EIE Advisor in Addis Ababa on a hybrid basis. The senior level role requires at least six years of experience and a background in education, educational planning and management, curriculum and instruction, education in emergencies, or development studies. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Planning and Management, Curriculum and Instruction, Education in Emergencies, Development Studies, or a related field
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field combined with substantial relevant professional experience may also be considered
• At least 6 years and above of relevant professional experience in education programming
• Computer friendly (Word, excel, power point, outlook etc)
• Knowledge of spoken & written Amharic, local languag and English.
• 3 strong references (will be crosschecked/contacted)

Main responsibilities

• Technical Program Support and Quality Assurance
• Regularly review program progress and quality, identify gaps and recommend corrective actions and technical improvements.
• Develop, adapt and contextualize education tools and materials, including curricula, training materials, implementation guidance and relevant MEAL tools.
• Promote integration and complementarity between Education, Child Protection, MHPSS and other relevant sectors
