Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC is hiring two Software Solution Architects in Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering and a mid level career level of 3-5 years. Applications close on 24 November 2026.
Requirements
- Strong experience of technically leading complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production)
- Knowledge and experience of developing a SOA (Service Orientated Architecture).
- Strong experience of working within a large scale Telecom/IT environment, ideally an operator/supplier.
- Experience of technically leading projects throughout the complete IT Development Life-cycle from requirements capture to handover and knowledge transfer.
Nice to have
- Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, C++ etc. is preferred
Main responsibilities
- Together with the project manager identify scope and assist in services cost estimation.
- Collection of business and technical requirements through series of workshops with customers / stakeholders.
- Production of requirement documentation to formalize and agree captured requirements.
- Creation of solution proposal utilizing industry standard frameworks to meet requirements, using products and services from the Huawei portfolio.
- Tracking of compliancy to requirements based on proposed solution initially and throughout the delivery.
