Job Summary 

The Process Control & Instrumentation Engineer is responsible to manage the electrical department and  ensure all Electrical/Electronics/Automation and instruments are supplied without causing any disruption to production in order to achieve the required standard of product quality and output in the most efficient and effective manner. At the same time the Electrical and System Engineer is the custodian of all Electrical and System Standards for the Brewery.

Operational

  • Output reports
  • carried out daily and  weekly maintenance
  • Optimized Instrument control in Utility, Brewing & Processing
  • Support the technological team to minimize break down maintenance.
  • Extract and analyses automation data
  • Support (24h, 7 day per week together with electrical engineer)  corrective maintenance in automation and process control by evaluation, troubleshooting support and knowledge transfer
  • Manage software modifications, backups, parameter registration and version control
  • Manage software licenses and versions
  • Train and assess the performance of shift technicians and automation technicians with regards to solving automation issues
  • Support inventory requirements for instrumentation, automation and process control
  • Prepare engineering design, execute and evaluate required software or automation modifications
  • Participate in TPM & PM teams for breakdowns and short-stops reduction
  • Develop a maintenance policy and a master plan on automation & instrumentation
  • Support the engineering divisions in development of the automation contingency plan
  • Organize thirds party services with regards to automation & instrumentation support (e.g. GEA, CENTECH and emergency support)
  • Support the production team in translation of technical requirements
  • Evaluate daily shift performance of machine efficiency by your statistical down time data 
  • perform QMS ,EMS,ERP and KIAZEN principle   and record all maintenance activities in operating formats  and put on fill box properly
  • Inspects instruments to check the proper operation against the standard measurements.
  • Prepare calibration plan, Performs calibrations of instruments develop status report & records
  • Performs preventive maintenance on instruments based on the plan
  • Changes damaged & obsolete instruments periodically
  • Co-operate and support your department and other department technician if they need help.
  • Performs other related duties assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification & Experience

  •  B.Sc. in Electrical/Control Engineering or Related Filed.
  • Minimum of  6 years of work experience in a process or instrumentation  environment
