Job Description

•  Plans, Supervises and coordinates the maintenance service of heavy trucks and light duty vehicles, machinery and equipment. Leads, supervises and inspects the quality of maintenance. 

Duties and Responsibility 

• Performs mechanical and related technical general services like repairs and overhauls of engines .
• Ensures the planned services and emergency works are properly carried out.
• Follows up that repair services are properly conducted.
• Checks that planned preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance are efficiently carried out.
• Ensures the availability of proper and adequate tools and equipment for maintenance and repair services.
• Leads groups of mechanics in charring out repair works.
• Checks the efficiency of maintenance operation to see that it is within the standard time.
• Sees to it that proper safely measures are being implemented and encourages safe working practices.
• Diagnoses the technical problems and provides efficient means of maintenance procedures.
• Determines and requests spare parts and other material for maintenance services.
• Ensures the maintenance of clean working area and the proper usage of workflow.
• Provides field repair services as required.
• Ensures the proper usage of all materials.
• Performs other duties assigned by the supervisor. 

Qualification

• BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Auto Mechanic

Experience

•  10 years and above in  5 years as Technical Maintenance Head
