Wela Agro Industry PLC is hiring a GENERAL MANAGER (GM) in Adama, Ethiopia, Oromia. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields and at least ten years of experience. Applications close on 17 November 2026.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Management or a related field
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience
  • Direct managerial experience in an animal-feed processing or manufacturing company
  • Demonstrated knowledge of animal-feed production processes, raw-material management, quality control and manufacturing operations
  • Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets, improving operational efficiency and delivering business results

Nice to have

  • Experience coordinating production, maintenance, quality, supply chain and commercial functions highly desirable
