Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE:
The position holder is responsible for the nutrition implementation in the woreda and working closely with the woreda health office, Werada administration, Kebele administration, community, and religious leaders, HWs, HEWs, and CHVs for the effective implementation and linkage of CMAM program with the community and facility. In addition the position holder is also expected to provide a consistent and high quality report on time in relation to CMAM implementation and he or she will make sure the programme quality, make sure the following woreda to build strong CMAM implementation package. He/she will also oversee overall health and nutrition implementation in the weredas of Dollo Ado, Dollo Bay and Bokolmayo
SCOPE OF ROLE:
- Supports and liaise with the health centre staff and provide on the job training and capacity building where required,
- Oversees programme quality, SMART
- Makes sure that CMAM program is implemented according to the National protocol i.e. application of the admission and discharge criteria, closely monitors and strictly follows anthropometry measurement
- Makes sure that the health staff have adequate training on the management of Nutrition as per National protocol
- Reports any problems in a timely manner to the Health and Nutrition Coordinator
- Coaches and supervises the Nutrition Activities
- Participate in coordination meetings
- Upholds the image and values of SC at all times,
- Performs other related tasks as required and tasks assigned by the organization.
- Creates and maintain relationship with local health and other authorities and try to link CMAM program with the existing health structure smoothly,
- Complied weekly, monthly and Quarterly reports to the three weredas of Dollo Ado, Dollo Bay and Bokolmayo and submit to Health and Nutrition Coordinator as well as the region and CO

Job specific roles and responsibilities
- Complied 3 Wereda’s (Dollo Ado, Dollo Bay and Bokolmayo ) weekly, monthly and Quarterly report and submit to Health and Nutrition Coordinator
- Supports and liaise with the health centre staff and provide on the job training and capacity building where required,
- Makes sure that the health staff have adequate training on the management of Nutrition as per National protocol
- Upholds the image and values of SC at all times,
- Perform any other activities based on Line manager’s assignment
- The staff should do all the responsibilities assign by the organization

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALFICATION, EXPEREINCE, COMPETENCIES
QUALIFICATION
- BSC/Diploma in Nurse/midwife and Public health
EXPEREINCE
- Minimum four years working experience for BSC and six years’ experience for Diploma holders out of which two year experience directly related to emergency health & nutrition particularly SC
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Knowledge, training and experience in CMAM and community mobilization/BCC
- Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Demonstrated skills in peer group training, Training of Trainers and development of training materials.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Amharic, English and Local language.
- Strong computer (Microsoft skills), all and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Able to work in line with strict adherence of specific policies and supervisor’s order.
- Expected to make decisions on well-established procedures, under close supervision
