It is our shared responsibility and obligation to treat each other with respect, take affirmative steps to prevent matters involving Sexual Exploitation & Abuse and Trafficking in Persons, and to disclose all potential and actual violations of our Code of Conduct, which may include Conflicts of Interest, Fraud, Corruption, Discrimination or Harassment. Together we can reinforce a culture of respect, integrity, accountability, and transparency.

Project Background

With the financial support of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Project HOPE in collaboration with Amref Health Africa and three local implementing partners, is undertaking a research project “Reaching zero-dose children in remote areas of Ethiopia”. The purpose of the project includes mapping zero-dose and under-immunized children in Ethiopia, identifying service delivery and demand-side barriers (including gender-related factors) in underserved settings, and informing the national zero-dose strategy and other relevant strategic initiatives towards reaching missed children.

Project HOPE wants to employ qualified and experienced facilitators and note takers for undertaking focus group discussions (FGDs) and in-depth interviews in underserved settings and missed communities in Ethiopia. The objective of the qualitative study is to identify the barriers and enablers for utilizing routine childhood vaccination services in selected remote and underserved settings. The study settings include hard-to-reach and conflict affected areas, urban slums, refugees, and internally displaced populations (IDPs).
