About the Company
Hadero is primarily engaged in coffee roasting and grinding and is developing a chain of retail outlets. At the roastery in Addis Ababa, a coffee museum/gallery has been curated in order to teach the public about the business of coffee in Ethiopia. In time, the Hadero brand will include a ‘3C’ product portfolio – coffee, cake, and chocolate. The journey for coffee and cake is well started and for chocolate, it is in progress with the construction of a processing plant in the planning.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
HC & General Service Supervisor’s main responsibility is the provision of reliable HR data, information, systems, and operational support so as to facilitate the achievement of “best practice” HC management. In addition, he/she is in charge of a proper follow-up and administration of general services.
1 maintain all necessary records of employees, handling leaves, Attendance, Capital Assets, and follow up on the implementation of various company protocols in the scope of the department
2 Assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of “best practice” HC management systems and processes.
3 Making HR, office fixed asset, and Vehicles data available and accessible and in a format that can benefit the real-time management of Hadero’s business.
4 On a daily bases supervise and follow all vehicles schedules to make sure their appropriate utilization and maintenance need
5 Undertake quarterly fixed asset count, report on discrepancies and facilitate the replacement and/or maintenance of those damaged/lost/outdated assets
6 Prepare purchase requisition of fixed materials and services
7 Make sure that all fixed assets of Hadero have proper records and assign a responsible person for particular assets
8 Manage and prepare internal transfer paper for all fixed assets
9 Put his/her Signature on employees clearance for an appropriate return of equipment and materials kept on the terminated employees’
10 Ensure that all employees get adequate office equipment, furniture telephone lines, and other necessary services and materials and keep their records
11 Assist in asset acquisition and disposal management
12 Responsible for administrative functions and the correct and timely preparation of all reports, including, but not limited to Quarterly Management Reports, and Monthly fixed asset Move-in and Move-out Reports.
13 Checks and follow all vehicles for timely maintenance and safe and efficient transportation service
14 Supervise and coordinate all service attendants, public attendants, and security officers
15 Assign vehicles for specific tasks based on company priorities
16 Ensures that all company vehicles are utilized appropriately and always check and file daily trip sheet
17 Checks the availability of fuel coupons and distribute them to vehicles and generator consumption
18 Follow all insurance cases and claims of vehicles
19 Manage and liaise with insurance companies as well as relevant medical institutions with regard to insurance and medical issues of employees
20 Follow and make timely bill settlements of internet, electricity, telephone, water, and other general services
21 Follow and check all payments with regard to vehicles maintenance and insurances
22 Receive and record all employment applications checking against the original documents
23 Performs other job-related duties as required
