International Medical Corps (IMC) is hiring a Medical Officer in Korem. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Public Health or as a Medical doctor and one to three years of experience. Applications close on 20 October 2026.
Requirements
- BSc in Public Health/Medical doctor with valid registration/practicing license
- At least two years’ experience in the field (Clinical management of cases at health facilities)
- At least one year INGO experience in the field in humanitarian setting
- Good written and spoken ability in the local language (Tigrigna) is mandatory
Main responsibilities
- Works primarily in OPD, emergency, under – 5 OPD, MCH and other medical care delivering units
- Coaches, mentors, and provides technical supports to health workers at the health facility
- Strengthening of linkages and coordination mechanisms between community and the Woreda Health Office
- Plan and implement project
