On behalf of our client, YYDTS Personal Care PLC, we are looking for a successful candidate to fill the Microbiologist position in the Bambis area, Addis Ababa.
About the Company YYDTS PERSONAL CARE PLC: – started its operation in Oct 2020 G.C. YYDTS is engaged in the production and supply of high-quality beauty care products and currently aims to expand its market to west Africa and Europe. Job Summary As a Microbiologist in the cosmetic lab, you will be in charge of the microbiological safety of the cosmetics products at YYDTS. You develop systems and procedures for microbial assurance of the products. This will be achieved through supervision of the hygiene program at the company, the GMP program, and micro-testing of the raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. You will develop the testing procedures and protocol to ensure the products are safe and ensure the containment of the microbial agents for the safety of the lab personnel, the products, and the environment. Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor of science in microbiology or Biochemistry. • At least three-year experience as a microbiologist in a busy laboratory in a cosmetics or pharmaceutical factory. • Capability to set up a micro lab. • Skills in handling microbial testing equipment, reagent, and kits. • Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports. • Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics. • Attention to Detail, • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards with regard to microbiology. • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods and review processes. • Process Improvement, • Great interpersonal and communication skills • Able to work independently. |
