TEAM PURPOSE : The Programme Quality Team (PQT) will be accountable for ensuring that programme design, management, monitoring, review, evaluation and reporting processes meet Oxfam Minimum Standards for Programming and CAMSA guidelines. The team will include monitoring and evaluation and ensure compliance with all external and internal (to Oxfam) quality and contractual obligations of Oxfam in Ethiopia may have. PQT will occasionally constitute an Internal Audit Team to assess and rate country compliance with internal standards, systems and procedures. JOB PURPOSE: The MEAL Coordinator is responsible to lead MEAL functions in Gambella Refugee Response Coordination office including methodological design, preparing data collection tools, lead data collection, data cleaning and data analysis and reporting MEAL activities, design and coordinate MEAL capacity building plans and ensure program quality as per Oxfam program quality standard, Core Humanitarian Standards as well as CAMSA minimum requirement and work closely with the filed programme teams, PQL team at Addis level, Other INGOs, partners and other local agencies and key line-local Government officials. This role The MEAL Coordinator is also responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of comprehensive MEAL system to enhance our ability to demonstrate the impact of our long-term development programme needs and humanitarian response in Gambella region for both refugee and host community response programs. |
