New Leaf Medical Complex (NLMC) is hiring seven Operating Room (OR) Nurses in Lebu Musica Sefer, Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Nursing and between three to five years of experience. Applications close on 21 November 2026.
Requirements
- Valid professional nursing licence.
Nice to have
- 3–5 years of relevant hospital experience , preferably in an operating room.
- Direct experience in perioperative nursing, sterile technique, and surgical safety is strongly preferred.
- Perioperative nursing training or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Main responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Perform scrub and circulating nurse duties according to competence and assignment.
- Maintain sterile technique and enforce infection prevention protocols.
- Assist surgical teams throughout operative procedures.
- Monitor surgical counts and ensure compliance with surgical safety checklists.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and recovery staff.
