Nib Candy Factory PLC is hiring a junior Quality Control Officer in Addis Ababa. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in food science or food technology and one to three years of experience. Applications close on 19 November 2026.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field
Nice to have
- Experience in food, beverage, confectionery, packaging, or consumer goods manufacturing is an advantage
- Candidates with relevant professional certifications, specialized training, or practical experience in the following areas will have an added advantage
Main responsibilities
- Consistently analyze, and monitor product, packaging, and raw material quality
- Perform and oversee micro-quality testing to safeguard consumer health
- Monitor quality of raw materials and warehouse operations
- Comply with safety and quality systems to reduce risk of recalls or regulatory non-compliance that could impact market access.
- Input results daily into the quality management system, analyze trends, and report non-conformances.
