Established in July 2006, Passion Technologies One Member PLC is a privately owned Ethiopian company that has evolved from a trading enterprise into a diversified, technology-driven organization operating across telecommunications infrastructure, telecom maintenance, civil works, logistics and distribution, technology and equipment supply, renewable-energy-related infrastructure, EV charging infrastructure, fuel logistics, and emerging import-export businesses. The company is headquartered at the Ethiopian ICT Park in Addis Ababa, maintains a strong operational presence in Tigray, and is expanding nationally.

Telecommunications is one of the company's principal business pillars. Its capabilities include OSP/fiber deployment, fiber maintenance, tower erection, site implementation, field engineering, QA/QC, fault identification and restoration, emergency response, operational monitoring, and project coordination. Passion Technologies has established operational relationships with Safaricom Ethiopia and Huawei Technologies.

Current Telecom Service Engagements

These service engagements require technically competent, safety-conscious and field-oriented personnel who can respond quickly to faults, maintain accurate technical records, coordinate with clients and NOC/operations teams, and uphold Passion Technologies' standards for quality, safety, compliance and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tower climbing, rigging and installation activities on structures up to 80 meters.
• Mount, align and secure antennas and associated equipment.
• Route feeders and fiber cables and perform weatherproofing and grounding.
• Safely use PPE, fall-arrest systems, ladders, ropes, lifting equipment and rigging tools.
• Support antenna installation, site preparation and commissioning activities.
• Inspect rigging equipment and ensure tools are serviceable before use.
• Comply strictly with working-at-height, rescue, fall-protection and site safety requirements.
• Report hazards, unsafe conditions, incidents and equipment defects immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc degree or diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in telecom field supervision, maintenance coordination or project site management.
• Practical knowledge of telecom maintenance, site operations, QA/QC, HSEQ and field team coordination.
• Strong leadership, planning, reporting, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and teams under demanding field conditions.
• Willingness to travel and work in the five Tigray service clusters as required.
• Safety-related certification and telecom HSEQ knowledge are preferred.
