Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, validate, and document customer requirements, map them to business processes, functional and solution architectures and ensure a proper implementation from a solution architecture point of view.
- Review client as-is processes and create the target operating model and the high-level to-be process model.
- Design, development, and implementation of SAP MDG custom objects.
- Responsible for crafting the right solution that will help customers to efficiently use the SAP MDG applications.
- Responsible for configuration of MDG system, solution monitoring, creation of functional specifications and guiding developers in custom development.
- Responsible for bringing together the pieces of the architecture for all aspects of the system and then communicates the architecture to the stakeholders from software development tools to the high-level design of the “off-the-shelf” components and services required for the system to function.
- Responsible for handling and mitigating any techno-functional problems that may rise within the entire development lifecycle and post-sales support and go-lives.
Requirements:
- Experience implementing SAP MDG within the retail sector.
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Solution Architect.
- Ability to implement SAP MDG solutions for various data domains and objects, but not limited to Retail, Materials, Finance and Vendor, Customer.
- S/4 HANA experience.
- Completed 3 or more end to end SAP MDG Implementations.
- Ability to work independently on the Design, Build, Test activity for SAP sub modules within SAP MDG solution.
- Experience leading solution design and development on multiple SAP MDG implementation projects.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP technical & functional capabilities as well as business processes and industry best practices.
- Client Stakeholder management experience acting as trusted advisor.
