The Opportunity
As a Senior Health Financing Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing technical activities focused on strengthening the health financing functions and systems to support universal health coverage of quality primary health care (PHC) services for Ethiopian citizens.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee technical activities in the Relevant Technical Areas below.
- Liaise with project partner organizations to foster productive working relationships with partner beneficiary counterparts.
- Supervise mid-level technical specialists to achieve project milestones within the anticipated project timeline.
- Coordinate production of project deliverables, including regular progress reports to USAID.

What We Value
- Demonstrated relevant professional experience working in developing countries on health care financing and health insurance, preferably under USAID or other internationally funded programs.
- Deep understanding and knowledge of health care finance and health insurance technical and sectoral areas in Ethiopia.
- Significant experience in the planning, design, and management of insurance schemes/programs and health care financing work
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Demonstrated personal and professional commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
