World Vision Ethiopia is hiring a mid‑level accountability officer in Tigray for a contract role. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and between two and three years of experience, with work onsite. Applications close on 17 October 2026.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant subject area (sociology, social work, social science, monitoring & data management, or a related field)
- At least 2-3 years demonstrated field-based experience with Accountability and MEAL activities in emergency context and grant funding
- Proven experience in leading Surveys (mix methodologies) from designing to report writing.
- Proficiency and experience with mobile data collection such as Kobo, CommCare, ODK Collect
- Good understanding of World Vision and Sphere relief standards, as well as the Red Cross and NGO Code of Conduct.

- Certified Trainer on Humanitarian Accountability
- Certified Trainer on CHS
- Certified Trainer SPHERE standards
Main responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for application of accountability frameworks to ensure their accurate integration and functionality within programs
- Support the implementation of AAP activities at field level in line with organizational standards and project requirements.
