Job Summary

The Senior Coffee Machine Operator will manage, oversee, and optimize the technical operation of advanced coffee processing machinery. This role is vital for ensuring consistent quality, mechanical efficiency, and high production standards at our Gelan Processing and Storage Factory.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control industrial-grade coffee processing and sorting machinery.

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical systems.

• Monitor production quality to maintain optimal bean grade and color sorting standards.

• Ensure workplace safety by following industrial guidelines and manufacturing protocols.

• Minimize processing downtime through continuous equipment monitoring and swift calibrations.

• Collaborate with factory heads to meet target production volumes and log operations data.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , or a closely related technical field.

Experience:

• Proven technical experience operating, repairing, or maintaining Electrical and mechanical part of industrial processing machinery (experience in a coffee processing plant is highly preferred).

Technical Skills:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting, basic automation understanding, and an eye for electrical control diagnostics.

Core Competencies:

• Detail-oriented, a proactive approach to safety, and strong communication skills.
