FDRE Policy Studies Institute (PSI)
Position: Invitation for job-seekers to participate in a research study We invite job-seekers to participate in a research study conducted by the FDRE Policy Studies Institute (PSI), located in Kirkos sub-city, Addis Ababa, in collaboration with the International Growth Center. The research study aims to understand skill mismatches in the Addis Ababa labor market and consists of one two-hour session, in which participants conduct several skill tests. The purpose of this study is to examine mismatches in job-seekers skills and employer demands in the labor market of Addis Ababa. You are eligible to participate in this study if you are currently not in paid employment (permanent or temporary). We will ask you to complete a survey, which should take approximately two hours. This survey contains questions about job-search activities and expectations, and several tests of labor market skills. Your responses will be anonymous and confidential.
