Game Changers Consulting PLC is a legally registered Ethiopian Business & Development Consulting Firm established to provide organizational management consultancy, business management consultancy, research mentorship & coaching, and training services. We are a multiple specialty firm ranging from capacity building of the workforce to research and development interventions. It is established with the aim to support the development of quality market relevant employability skills training such as soft skills/life skills training, business skills training, vision development/mind-set training, facilitation of work based/on-job training and employability skills training with the aim to ensure access to sustainable employment opportunity and livelihoods for economically poor and socially disadvantaged young women and men in Ethiopia. It has also tremendous experiences on women and youth empowerment for employment, livelihood diversification and economic empowerment, establishment and promotion of MSEs/MSMEs, value-chain development, providing business development support (BDS), promotion of business to business (B2B) linkages, promotion of Access to Finance (A2F), on-job coaching and mentorship services, and market chain facilitation between MSMEs and end users/buyers.  In addition, it has a long term ample experience and expertise on training program design and development such as Curriculum framework and training modules development, organizational frameworks and strategy document for gov’t institutions, NGOs and private sectors.  It has also ample experience in facilitation of  apprenticeship program with frequent support, follow up and coaching of trainees in close collaboration with the private sectors by making different consent of mutual advantages between apprentice and private sectors. Through the process, we have learnt that apprenticeships program is a proven way to promote the smooth transitions from school to work. It is also the best way to acquire core employability skills is on the job. In addition, it has an experience of facilitating and encouraging target groups to form village savings and loan associations (VSLA).

Job Summary of the Program Manager;

The Program Manager will work under the direct supervision and general guidance of the founder and general manger of Game Changers Consulting PLC. His/her main responsibility will be to coordinate Game Changers Consulting PLC day-to-day programmatic functions and supervise  the entire staff,  research and development tasks, fundraising and marketing functions with the aim of increasing income generating activities and organizes details of all activities related with fund raising and resource mobilization. He/she will be responsible for building an increasingly, diversified network of resource partners including development partners, corporates, academia, policy-makers, philanthropists and foundations. He/she has to be a strategic thinker with strong understanding of various media sources and the development sector. This role is responsible for providing leadership in the resource mobilization strategy in response to the emerging opportunities and challenges. Furthermore; he/she is expected to manage, execute and follow up with result oriented concrete actions related to his/her functions and their teams .

 Roles and responsibilities;

• Supervise and coordinate the entire team day-to-day activities.
• Assists the founder and general manager in  exploring and developing strategies for long-term sustainability of the organization and its area of operation.
• Explore and identify funding opportunities through aggressive researching of diversifying organization funding sources.
• Responds  to call  for proposals (prepares  technical proposals and financial proposals /appeals); submit to the founder and general manager and   undertake   follow-up   of   potential funding opportunities.
• Liaises   with   private   agencies,   the   government   and   other   organizations   to   explorepotential collaborations for raising funds for the organization.
• Take the lead in identifying resourse mobilization and fund raising opportunities, listing them and sharing the information to the founder and general manager.
• Assist in developing a fund generation and resource mobilization work plan and constantly follow-up the implementation of the plan .
• Coordinate processing of agreements in connection with funding opportunities and ensure effective and timely follow-up in terms of submission of reports to the clients/partners
• Ensure the fundraising and resource mobilization information are up to date on the Game Changers social media and website (Oversee and update the website(s) and social media of Game Changers Consulting PLC)
• Develop fundraising strategies, plans, methods, tactics and focus (bilateral, private sector, public funding, foundations)
• Recommend ways to develop and maintain strategic partnerships and engagement with key donors (past, present and future)
• Undertake all other relevant activities as and when assigned by the Founder and General Manager of Game Changers Consulting PLC
• Write post-grant reports for grant-making trusts, as and when required, to demonstrate outcomes of the consultancy service. 
• Conducting research on potential donors/partners such as trusts, foundations, companies and high net worth individuals. This includes proactively identifying funding opportunities, as soon as or ideally before they become public knowledge, and constantly scan the horizon, network and solicit donor intelligence and share information on donor profiles (policies, preferences, geographical focus).

• Minimum of  Masters Degree in management, economics, human resources management, public management, marketing, business management and related fields.
• Minimum of  5 years direct CSO/NGO/consultancy firm professional work experience.
• Experience in creating and leading effective working team.
• Strong linkage with private sectors and umbrella organizations in Addis Ababa 
• Experience working closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Previous experience working on donor funded projects.
• Experience in adolescent and youth related projects.
• Multi-tasking, in taking initiative and working effectively under pressure.
• Familiarity with different job creation initiatives in Ethiopia.
• Soundable  knowledge and experience in program management
• Proven experience on project planning, management, evaluation and learning.
