Game Changers Consulting PLC is a legally registered Ethiopian Business & Development Consulting Firm established to provide organizational management consultancy, business management consultancy, research mentorship & coaching, and training services. It is established with the aim to support the development of quality market relevant employability skills training such as soft skills/life skills training, business skills training, vision development/mind-set training, facilitation of work based/on-job training and employability skills training with the aim to ensure access to sustainable employment opportunity and livelihoods for economically poor and socially disadvantaged young women and men in Ethiopia. It has also tremendous experiences on women and youth empowerment for employment, livelihood diversification and economic empowerment, establishment and promotion of MSEs/MSMEs, value-chain development, providing business development support (BDS), promotion of business to business (B2B) linkages, promotion of Access to Finance (A2F), on-job coaching and mentorship services, and market chain facilitation between MSMEs and end users/buyers.  In addition, it has a long term ample experience and expertise on training program design and development such as Curriculum framework and training modules development, organizational frameworks and strategy document for gov’t institutions, NGOs and private sectors.  It has also ample experience in facilitation of  apprenticeship program with frequent support, follow up and coaching of trainees in close collaboration with the private sectors by making different consent of mutual advantages between apprentice and private sectors. Through the process, we have learnt that apprenticeships program is a proven way to promote the smooth transitions from school to work. It is also the best way to acquire core employability skills is on the job. In addition, it has an experience of facilitating and encouraging target groups to form village savings and loan associations (VSLA).

Job Summary of the PWD Employment Linkage Coordinator;

The People With Disability (PWD) Employment Linkage Coordinator will work under the direct supervision and general guidance of the Program Manger of Game Changers Consulting PLC. His/her main responsibility will be to facilitate Game Changers Consulting PLC day-to-day job creation and skills development tasks including; Conduct rapid assessment and identify the supply and demand ecosystem in relation to people with disabilities,  Identify jobseekers in the disability spectrum (PWD who are willing to be engaged in wage employment), Design and develop PWD-friendly employability and mind set training materials (training materials tailored to the needs of job seekers in the disability spectrum), Lobby key stakeholders and employers to create employment opportunity for people with disabilities and Promote awareness and sensitization among hiring organizations about PWDs, Facilitate business to business (B2B) linkage, Facilitate jobseeekers apprenticeship program,  Facilitate work engagment and retention (WEAR) training for factory workers, Facilitate technical skills training in collaboration with TVET Colleges, Facilitate career development pathway preparation in collaboration with large manufacturing industries, Facilitate value chain development process,  Facilitate life skills/soft skills training, Improving the capacity of public and private TVET training providers and potential employers (key market players) on demand driven/market relevant employability skills training delivery modality, Strengthening the capacity of cluster of SMEs/ MSMEs, large manufacturing companies and private business firms,  Strengthen the functional linkages of public and private partnerships (PPP), Facilitate business development support (BDS), Conduct capacity assessment of public TVET colleges to provide machine operation training, Support on the establishment and operationalization of production unit/IGA unit to public TVET college, Provide HR and capacity building  training for HR personnel in manufacturing companies, Support the fundraising and marketing functions of the organization with the aim of increasing income generating activities.

Roles and responsibilities;

Required number of experts: 2 (Two)

• Minimum of  BA/BSC Degree in management, economics, human resources management, public management, marketing, business management, and related fields.
• Minimum of  5 years direct CSO/NGO/consultancy firm professional work experience.
• Experience in preparation of job fair and job linkage 
•  Experience on job matching and placement 
• Strong linkage with private sector organizations
• Experience on provision of job searching skills training 
• Experience in apprenticeships, coaching, mentoring, and working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in working youth focused projects 
• Experience in supporting and coaching of adolescent and youth
• Experience and knowledge on how to manage young people
• Experience on delivering behavioural change training programs
• Familiar with different workforce/skill development initiatives in Ethiopia.
• soundable  knowlage and ample experience on job creation and skills development sector
• Understand the Ethiopian TVET Strategy very well
