Job Summary

Our Company is looking for to hire a Sales and Marketing Head. The Sales and Marketing Head oversees Cerealia’s sales and marketing programs and develops sales and marketing strategic objectives. The Sales and Marketing Head should have a successful previous experience as head of the marketing and sales division of another FMCG company with special focus on food or beverage companies. He/she should be experienced in establishing sales targets, quotas and territories, managing budget, launching new products, and developing marketing programs such as advertising, brand promotion and targeted campaigns.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience in the daily deployment and management of sales and marketing personnel. The Head ensures consistent profitable sales and brand recognition through active planning and identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to achieve both short-term and long-term sales goals. The candidate should be fluent in English, be creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to create awareness of the company's products and brands
  • Manage sales and marketing channels and drive revenue growth across multiple channels
  • Supervise the department and provide guidance and feedback to other marketing professionals
  • Review and analyze market trends to determine customer needs, price schedules, volumes, incentives, and discount rates
  • Provide support, feedback, and direction to the sales force, including regular ride-along and mentoring sessions
  • Monitor the CRM/RTM database to track leads, performance, coverage and volume
  • Achieve all expectations of sales target and budget
  • Record all sales and marketing activities and submit comprehensive periodic reports to the CEO and the Board
  • Generate ideas for promotional events or activities and organize them efficiently
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns for corporate promotion and launching of new products across multiple sales channels
  • Manage production of content for the company's online presence, editorials and publications
  • Review progress of the sales team and provide quarterly result assessments of the sales team's productivity
  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams
  • Coordinate company resources properly to ensure efficient and stable sales results
  • Formulate and update all sales department policies, practices, and procedures
  • Assist sales personnel in establishing personal contacts and rapport with top echelon decision-makers
  • Conduct general market research to keep abreast of trends and competitors’ marketing movements
  • Track budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
  • Act as the organization's face with external parties such as media, customers, stakeholders, and potential clients and build strategic partnerships
  • Adhere to the company's policies and government regulations

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Masters or BA Degree in Marketing or Business-related fields is preferred
  • At least 8 years for Masters and 10 years for BA experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a high-turnover FMCG sector
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing managerial role preferably in a high-turnover FMCG sector
  • Strong interpersonal relationship and people management skills
  • Ability to handle diverse challenges and cope up with difficult working environment
  • Self-initiative and ability to manage own work with little supervision
  • A team player who is result-oriented
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to generate standardized sales charts and reports
  • Good attention to detail, with the capacity to handle cross-team communication and tasks
  • Excellent presentation skills with executives, peers and direct reports
