Kelem International School (KIS) (Former Swedish Community School) is hiring an English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher – Middle & High School in Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor's degree in English Language & Literature Education and at least 3 years of experience. The position is full time onsite and applications close on 24 October 2026.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature Education or a related field required
- Valid secondary teaching certification with a minimum of 3 years teaching middle or high school English Language Arts
- Fluent command of English (Amharic is an asset)
- Expertise in differentiated instruction
Nice to have
- IB Specialization: Experience teaching within IB PYP and IB MYP frameworks; an IB Category 1 Workshop Certificate is highly preferred
