Stay Easy Plus Addis Ababa Hotel  is a  five-star  local branded hotel located at  Addisu Gebeya   Gulele Sub-City Keble 19/15  around Total Gas station. It has  103  spacious and furnished  rooms  with 6 big Venus ( meeting rooms ), well-organized  pastry shops , three Bars, and one  Classic Restaurant  with an open kitchen ready to accommodate all international Guests. 

JOB SUMMARY

The Security Supervisor will oversee facility security to protect all company assets. The Security Supervisor may also manage and/or implement security protocols related to the storage of confidential information and documents.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides and/or implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
• Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
• Provides specialized security for and monitors access to limited and restricted access areas such as inventory areas, network equipment areas, and employee files and confidential records.
• Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas.
• Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures.
• Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
• Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents.
• Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes).
• Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy.
• Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they might have.
• Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.
• Monitor alarms and security cameras. 

Other responsibilities

• Ensures that all potential and real hazards are reduced immediately
• Fully understands the hotel fire, emergency, and bomb procedures
• Ensures that emergency procedures are practiced and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
• Ensures that own staff works in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others
• Anticipates possible and probable hazards and conditions and corrects them or takes action to prevent them from happening

Qualification

• A high standard of spoken and written English.
• Military background is required
• Flexible working hours’ subject to the demands of the business.
• Able to work under pressure.
• More than 2 years’  Hotel experience required 
• Hotel management level III-IV, Degree or diploma certification
