MACCFA is a highly recognized, full-fledged freight forwarding company located in Ethiopia with a global network via its joint venture partner CEVA Logistics. We have extensive experience for over twenty-six years in customs clearing, freight forwarding, and ground transportation via overland trucking and railway. We are looking for competent and energetic professional who can be part of our dynamic and professional team for our Human Resource Unit.
The job holder is responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, the incumbent should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately required to creating strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.
Develops & implements Learning & Development strategy elements across the organization. In this respective role the job holder should be accountable for creation and delivery of learning solutions & talent development interventions to support business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness. Coordinate and continuous follow of Performance Management initiatives, ensure all units are adhering with the agreed annual business and development goals. Execute Key position succession plan and retention strategies. Key Accountabilities

Education & Qualifications
- B.A. Degree in HR / Business Administration or related field of study
Languages
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
- Knowledge of local language
Experience
- 4 years’ experience as Talent Management expert, dealing in a specialist role with demonstrated competence in Talent Acquisition, L&D, Performance Management, KPI setting, review and Key team succession plan.
- Demonstrated talent management skills.
- A high degree of computer literacy; knowledge of special HR software is desirable.
- Ability to generate and analyse various HR metrics using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Current knowledge of industry practices, trends and issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- The ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment.
- A systematic and structure approach, with strong knowledge and experience in project management and learning management systems
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
- Computer Application; Labour Law, HR regulations
- Knowledge of basic human resource disciplines
- Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
- Ability to handle confidential information as well as using discretion in solving sensitive and complex situations
