Plus Development Consultancy(PDC) is hiring a Finance Officer in Dessie, Amhara Region, and Addis Ababa. The role is full-time and onsite, asking for a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management, and at least two years of experience. Applications close on 5 November 2026.
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of Ethiopian tax and financial regulations
- Fluency in Amharic and good working English
- Currently based in Dessie or the surrounding areas
Main responsibilities
- Prepare and process payment requests, vouchers and petty cash, with complete supporting documents
- Maintain accurate cashbooks, ledgers and financial records
- Process and track payments to staff, supervisors and enumerators, including daily fees and per diems
- Monitor budgets and report on expenditure against plan
- Reconcile bank and cash balances monthly
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management
