Danish Refugee Council is hiring a Finance Officer full time in Abala, Afar. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or business administration and three to five years of experience. Applications close on 16 November 2026.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the financial/accounting field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Basic proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in staff training and capacity building

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring donor project budgeting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with DRC’s Operations Handbook, Donors’, and Statutory requirements
