Apex Confectionery PLC is hiring a finance & operations manager in Addis Ababa. The role requires a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of eight years of experience. Applications close on 30 October 2026.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax, accounting and statutory requirements.
- Strong Excel and accounting-software skills.
- Highly organized, analytical and capable of working independently.
Nice to have
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with operational or logistics responsibilities.
Main responsibilities
- Finance & Financial Control
- Manage the complete accounting and finance function of MYMR.
- Prepare accurate monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements.
- Prepare and continuously update cash-flow forecasts and working-capital requirements.
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and general ledger controls.
- Monitor customer collections and actively follow up overdue receivables.
