ABIG is hiring a finance supervisor in Addis Ababa. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least five years of experience. Applications close on 22 October 2026.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, manage deadlines, and coordinate multiple financial activities
Main responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily accounting and finance activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Review journal entries, payment requests, bank reconciliations, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash balances, and outstanding transactions, reporting significant issues to the line Manager.
- Ensure proper implementation of financial policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor compliance with applicable tax regulations and coordinate the timely preparation of tax filings.
