Sami Automotive Technology is hiring an IT Officer in Addis Ababa. The position requires a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Telecommunications and at least 1 year of experience. Applications close on 8 November 2026.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a GPS tracking, fleet management, telematics, or automotive technology company is required. Practical experience configuring GPS tracking devices and GPS tracking platforms.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's computers, printers, network equipment, and IT infrastructure, if possible. Provide day-to-day technical support to employees. Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software. Troubleshoot Windows, networking, internet, and other IT-related problems. Configure GPS tracking devices and GPS tracking systems according to company requirements.
