Ethio Cement PLC is hiring a Purchaser in Addis Ababa. The role requires a diploma in Auto-Mechanics, Purchasing or Procurement, or Business Management and at least 1 year of experience. Applications close on 6 November 2026.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a BA degree or diploma in one of the following fields: Auto-Mechanics Purchasing or Procurement Business Management
  • At least one year of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of local market conditions. Experience working in a factory or business organization is valued.

Main responsibilities

  • Purchase materials, supplies, and spare parts from the local market based on approved purchase orders. Ensure the timely procurement of required commodities. Maintain appropriate minimum order quantities to support operational needs. Follow up with suppliers to ensure the proper and timely delivery of materials. Coordinate the supply of materials required for factory operations and maintenance work. Follow up with local workshops and garages regarding materials and maintenance-related requirements.
