Job Description

Essential Function
- Ensures that e-channel information, products, services offered and fee structures of the bank is updated on the system;
- Provides training on E- Banking products
- Responsibilities for assisting with all e-channel projects, production issues, system upgrades and testing including interfaces and connectivity
- Periodically identifies gaps and takes corrective measures on E-Banking system operation;
- Undertakes corrective measures to rectify any system errors identified by customers and branches
- Follow up correction of any E-banking system errors identified by customers and branches
- Integrate the banks E- Banking system with other networks and vendors to enhance service delivery
- Ensures the proper changes made in E- Banking system configuration and parameters
- Closely works with IT-security to safeguard online transactions by regularly testing and fixing all possible security holes, and keeping the system free from malware
- Shall ensure E-Banking system stability, Security and maximum uptime
- Implementation of new technologies in E-Banking business
- Perform technical support for internal staffs and customers
- Prepare reports on and resolves issues related to the implementation of all system upgrades
- Maintain knowledge of internal resources to mitigate disruption of services to customers
- Shall ensure E-banking systems stability, service and maximum uptime
- Develop E- Banking related reports and provide E-Banking related data based on the request from various internal organs
- Study new technologies to upgrade E-Banking systems and propose feasible innovation
- Closely work with Eth-Switch in all technical issues
- Study, implement and apply any changes required from Eth-switch and National Bank of Ethiopia
- Coordinate with E-Banking business team on daily activities and troubleshoot and issues in E-Banking systems
- Participate in policy and procedure development
- Performing other related duties as may be required by the Bank
Job Requirement
- Bsc/Msc Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Any other related fields 6.5/4.5 years of relevant experience, preferably banking, of which 2 recent years in banking industry
