Main responsibilities
- Inspect the company’s transactions and related documents and verify accuracy and legitimacy.
- Review the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information and other disclosures provided to management.
- Review periodic returns of the work units to verify that their financial reports truly depict their financial position.
- Discuss audit findings and recommendations with line managers and report on the identified issues to senior management.
- Conduct physical count of stock and fixed assets and verify existence and reconciliation against financial records.
- Prepare audit reports in line with the approved audit plan.
